The Home Shopping Network is accepting applications from Alaska businesses to be featured on its “American Dreams” program, according to a release from the University of Alaska.
The show would give Alaska entrepreneurs the opportunity to show off their products to HSN’s 96 million viewers. Applications are due July 11 and business panels in Fairbanks, Anchorage and Juneau will review the applications. Some businesses will be invited back to panels at the University of Alaska Fairbanks to give a five-minute presentation on their products on July 27. The panel will be in Anchorage on July 28 and Juneau on July 29.
To qualify, businesses must be able to fulfill an order from 500 to 2,500 units and travel to Clearwater, Florida, for one day of training before filming.
