Samantha graduated from Loras College in 2014 with degrees in International Studies, Public Relations, and English (because a world without books is like Alaska without Denali). Following her graduation, she jumped right into the University of Denver’s Masters of Liberal Studies in Arts and Culture program earning her degree in 2016. Born and raised in Colorado, Samantha first came to Fairbanks in 2012 for an internship with the Chamber of Commerce. Then in 2015, a brief visit to Fairbanks to see family led to a summer job with FEDC where she oversaw the Chef at the Market and Tour of Farms events. She now joins FEDC as the Project Manager for Agriculture, Rural Outreach, Forestry, and Fairbanks First: Think Local.
