Just a quick reminder that the Climate Change Taskforce's Education Committee has a meeting scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, September 10th at 1:30 in the FEDC office (301 Cushman Street, Suite 301).

Please take a moment to review Mary's e-mail below and the FNSBSD Science Curriculum before the meeting.

Hello Education Sub Committee,

I trust you have enjoyed a refreshing summer and are soaking up this last warm, sun shine.. I would like us to discuss the draft FNSBSD Science Curriculum. Would you like to meet in person for an hour, or communicate online? Did you all get a copy of the DRAFT? You can download it from FNSBSD's website, under Science Curriculum Draft 1.

I propose a face to face meeting on Sept 10 1:30-2:30. at FEDC office down town.

Please let me know what you think about the meeting and the Draft plan, so we can report back to the writing team.

Also, Terry Chapin is preparing a list of Climate Change Action Priorities for the State. Do you have specific advice in reference to State Standards and Practices to include climate change??

Thank you for your help in these matters. This is our time to support the writing team on the draft and make suggestions if you have any.
