Interior Issues Council Message: Energy for All Alaska meeting Tuesday July 6th
Interior Issues Council Member,
Next week's Energy for All Alaska meeting will be held on Tuesday July 6th at 8:00 am in the FEDC conference room. During the meeting will we be discussing the draft papers presented to the group from some of the members working on formalizing the issues we have discussed during the previous meetings.
The topics will include:
- A healthy state-wide economy depends on an economically healthy Fairbanks. (Jim Dodson)
- The in-state pipeline route passing through Fairbanks will lower the price of energy for Alaska's defense industry sector. (Jim Dodson)
- The in-state pipeline route passing through Fairbanks is the most politically expedient route. (Jim Whitaker)
- The in-state pipeline route passing through Fairbanks is the most readily environmental permitted route. (Dr. Sackinger)
- The in-state pipeline route passing through Fairbanks will promote an interior GTL plant. (Dr. Sackinger & Dr. Metz)
